Dakota Kai fires back after former champion calls her "forgettable"; WWE stars embroiled in a digital war

A plethora of WWE Superstars have fought battles against each other on social media over the years. This has further been used to build massive storylines and book marquee matches in the Stamford-based company, enhancing the reception of the fans on such social media squabbles.

Dakota Kai and Sonya Deville have been involved in an online war of words lately. During the Survivor Series post-show, IYO SKY mentioned that Dakota was also a member of Damage CTRL, to which the latter quipped that the journalist must have forgotten her. Replying to the incident, Sonya Deville took a shot at Kai, stating that she was quite 'forgettable,' referring to her injuries and the time she has been 'on the bench.'

The Damage CTRL member has now replied to Deville, referencing the latter's injuries in the past, taking a massive shot at the star. Adding a picture to Deville's tweet, Kai took a shot at Deville for having a fair share of her injuries of her own which have kept her out of action for a long time in the past.

After their recent skirmish on social media, the chances of WWE using it as a foundation to build a rivalry between both women seems quite a possibility. With the recent introduction of the Women's Intercontinental Championship on RAW, adding a match between both, with title implications could make things quite interesting.

However, with both women being a part of factions on the red brand, a war between both factions could also be used as a massive storyline on RAW in the next few weeks. With a lot of opportunities in place for both women, time will tell what WWE has planned for them on the red brand.
