Damian Priest breaks silence following injury scare
Damian Priest had a major injury scare during the main event of WWE Clash at the Castle: Scotland. The Archer of Infamy recently broke his silence on social media after Cathy Kelley stated that the champion would have to get medically checked following the post-show press conference.
The Judgment Day member defended his title against Drew McIntyre at the premium live event. During the opening moments of the match, Priest got his ankle tangled in the ropes. Despite the scary spot, the champion continued to wrestle and even retained his title after interference from CM Punk.
It was earlier reported that the 41-year-old did not suffer a tear or any other serious injury during the match. Damian Priest shared his first update after the show on X (fka Twitter) earlier today. The champion posted a picture from the premium live event, holding his title high after securing a hard-fought victory.

WWE Superstar Damian Priest claims he is ready to face his next challenge
After a successful title defense in Glasgow, another big challenge awaits Damian Priest in the form of Gunther. The Ring General defeated Randy Orton in the final to win the King of the Ring tournament in Jeddah last month. In addition to the crown, the former Intercontinental Champion also earned a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE SummerSlam.
After the premium live event, The Judgment Day member acknowledged that Gunther can be a tough competitor to face. He praised the Imperium leader for his in-ring abilities. However, Priest claimed he would score the all-important win come SummerSlam:
"I'm the World [Heavyweight] Champ. I'm going to face Gunther at SummerSlam. Look, we all know how good he is in the ring. His IC title run was historic. So, I get it. I get the challenge that he is going to be. But again, please tell me I can't beat him. Please tell me I can't beat Gunther. Because I can't wait to shove that one down everybody's throats as well at SummerSlam," he said. [From 18:48 to 19:45]
