Damian Priest calls out major WWE rival to a rematch
WWE Superstar Damian Priest suffered a stunning upset at the 2023 Backlash Premium Live Event when he was defeated by a non-wrestler and celebrity. The Archer of Infamy has now issued a challenge to his former rival, Bad Bunny, for a rematch.
The 30-year-old rapper competed in his first-ever singles wrestling match against The Judgment Day member in a San Juan Street Fight at Backlash 2023. After a hellacious battle, Bunny secured a big win in front of his home crowd.
In a recent interview with Infinity Sports Network, Damian Priest was asked if he would welcome a rematch against the 30-year-old rapper. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion stated that he would like to have a rematch against Bad Bunny from Backlash 2023, as he didn't emerge victorious in their previous encounter.
"First of all, yes, I would definitely welcome a rematch [against Bad Bunny] because I didn't get the win, so I need to get that one back," Priest said. [4:36-4:42]

During the same interview, The Archer of Infamy broke his on-screen character to praise his former WWE in-ring adversary.
El Campeon noted that despite lacking a wrestling background, Bad Bunny underwent extensive training and worked tirelessly to deliver a phenomenal performance.
"The success of it [match] goes into the work we put in. I'll say this about Bad Bunny: for a celebrity, an outsider, somebody who's not from this world, the amount of work that he put in and the rigorous training that he went through and for what he put his body through, knowing that he has a huge career that he should be focusing on, just speaks to the volumes of the type of entertainer he is," he added.
