Damian Priest to go one on one with 385-pound major rival on WWE RAW

WWE has announced a major match for Damian Priest on tonight's edition of RAW. The World Heavyweight Champion will also be having a face-to-face interaction with Gunther tonight ahead of their title match at SummerSlam.

The Judgment Day has had issues with Braun Strowman in recent weeks on the red brand. Damian Priest will be looking to put an end to the group's rivalry with The Monster of All Monsters as he will be facing him in a singles match tonight on RAW. The company announced the bout on their X (fka Twitter) account ahead of tonight's show.

"After weeks of back and forth between Braun Strowman and The Judgment Day, @ArcherOfInfamy will look to put an end to it once and for all when he takes on The Monster of All Monsters TONIGHT on #WWERaw! 📺 8/7c on@USANetwork," read the caption of the post.

Gunther won the King of the Ring Tournament in May by defeating Randy Orton in a match that had a controversial finish. As a result of winning the tournament, The Ring General has earned a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE SummerSlam 2024. The premium live event will take place on August 3 at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Ohio.
