Damian Priest makes an interesting claim about possibly leaving The Judgment Day

This Saturday at the WWE Money in the Bank Premium Live Event Damian Priest will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins. However, as Rollins' agreements say, if Priest loses, he would have to leave The Judgment Day.

In a recent interview with The Indian Express, The Archer of Infamy addressed his upcoming clash with The Visionary. He confessed to being under pressure due to the gentlemen's agreement with his opponent. Nevertheless, the 41-year-old feels the match is the perfect opportunity to prove himself as the face of Monday Night RAW.

The Judgment Day member also claimed that he was confident he would defeat the former World Heavyweight Champion, or else he would not have agreed to the stipulation:

"So, I'm confident and that's why I was able to, you know, make that gentlemen's agreement, where, you know, if I lose, fine, I leave The Judgment Day. But I don't think I'm gonna lose or else I, you know, I wouldn't have made that bet. It's pressure, you know. It's Seth Rollins. He's one of the greatest to ever do this and he's still going strong. And I feel like this is the perfect opportunity that if I'm gonna prove myself, if I'm gonna say that I'm the guy now to be the face of Monday Night RAW, I have to beat Seth Rollins. I have to be able to overcome that mountain because he is the guy that we look up to," he said.

Damian Priest added:

"Like, we think Seth Rollins is the man, right? Like, he's the best of the best. So, if that's the case, I need to prove myself against him for me. I need to know that I can not just hang with him, because I've done that in the past, I need to know I can beat him because it's my time now. So, there's a lot of pressure but I feel like I do very well under the pressure. So, I'm more excited for this match than anything." [From 02:08 to 03:16]

Damian Priest will leave The Judgment Day with another WWE Superstar?

On an episode of his The Wrestling Matt podcast, former WWE host Matt Camp addressed the future of The Judgment Day. He claimed the group could split into two.

The former RAW Talk host suggested Damian Priest could leave The Judgment Day alongside Rhea Ripley. Meanwhile, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Liv Morgan will be on the other side. However, Camp wondered where Dominik Mysterio would stand in that scenario:

"I'm also coming around the idea of The Judgment Day going the way The Bloodline did. [Damian] Priest is gonna go babyface with Rhea [Ripley]. The rest of them over here. Maybe add somebody else, you add a big heel or somebody to The Judgment Day, the heel version with Finn and JD and Liv. I can see it. Then where does Dom fall in all that? That's the weird thing. Where does Dom fall in all of it? Because you can't make him a babyface. Not sure," he said.

Damian Priest has already defended his title against Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre. It would be interesting to see if he could overcome Seth Rollins to keep his position in The Judgment Day.
