Damian Priest reveals NSFW place a fan asked him to autograph
If one were to make a list of the top five WWE Superstars who broke out in 2024, Damian Priest would be in it ubiquitously. Priest won his first World Heavyweight Championship in April, at WrestleMania, no less, and reigned supreme till the summer. He also turned babyface following his split from The Judgment Day.
This past Monday, The Archer of Infamy assisted The War Raiders in capturing the World Tag Team Championship. His involvement was predominantly in order to get back at Finn Bálor, his former friend from their days together in The Judgment Day. Bálor cost him the World Heavyweight Title at SummerSlam and prevented him from winning it back at Survivor Series.
Meanwhile, on WWE's YouTube channel, Damian Priest was asked, among other talents, about the weirdest autograph requests. Priest revealed that he was asked to sign undergarments, but then refused to speak more about it:
"Yeah [laughs], I've had a few weird things asked to autograph," Priest said, holding back laughter. "Maybe some undergarments, you know? But I'll keep it safe here." [From 2:30 to 2:44]
The former World Heavyweight Champion's rivalry with Finn Bálor has run its course, according to many. But former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. believes if they have some good material to work on, it can succeed.
What Freddie Prinze Jr. said about Damian Priest vs. Finn Bálor
After Finn Bálor cost Damian Priest the World Heavyweight Title at Survivor Series, World Heavyweight Champion Gunther had to defend his belt against both of them at Saturday Night's Main Event this week. Once again, The Ring General prevailed.
Speaking on Wrestling with Freddie, Freddie Prinze Jr. discussed The Prince repeatedly standing as a thorn in Priest's side, noting that the program has lost steam. He believes this feud will end with Bálor's destruction, as WWE is high on The Archer of Infamy. Nevertheless, the program is stagnating the 41-year-old:
"What I thought was settled beef is unsettled beef; it's uncooked beef, it's raw. They got to cook it up more. This stuff between [Damian Priest] and Finn Bálor, right now anyway, at least in that moment [at Survivor Series], felt overcooked and unnecessary. Kind of took away from the match a little bit. Crowd wasn't into it, that's for sure. But we'll see where they go with it," Prinze Jr. said.
WWE Creative is looking to continue the narrative between Bálor and Priest, based on what transpired on WWE RAW this week. Where things ultimately end bear watching.
