Damian Priest's repetitive booking draws flak from WWE veteran; claims the company is killing his momentum (Exclusive)

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo feels the company is running the same old storylines with Damian Priest. The former World Heavyweight Champion was in action against Dominik Mysterio this week.

"Dirty" Dominik Mysterio used all the underhanded tactics in his book against Priest this week. JD McDonagh, Carlito, and even Finn Balor ambushed their former teammate during the match leading to a disqualification. The War Raiders emerged from the back to stop the post-match beatdown on Priest and drove away the gothic faction.

This week on Legion of RAW, Russo explained that it was another rerun of a match we've seen several times. He mentioned that adding the War Raiders to the feud only meant that WWE would be booking a six-man tag team match down the line with Priest teaming up with Erik and Ivar against The Judgment Day.

"We talked about Dominik and Damian Priest which we've seen a million freaking times. Now the War Raiders get involved, so now we're gonna have six mans. The War Raiders and Priest, they beat this stuff to death." [From 49:50 onwards]

Damian Priest has already proven to be a thorn in the side of The Judgment Day, costing them the World Tag Team Championship last week. It will be interesting to see if this week's events lead to a huge six-man tag team encounter down the line.
