Damian Priest says WWE Hall of Famer is allowed in The Judgment Day

Damian Priest has been part of The Judgment Day since the group formed in 2022. In a recent interview, the World Heavyweight Champion revealed why Ozzy Osbourne is one of the few people he would welcome into the RAW faction.

Osbourne, the lead singer of heavy metal band Black Sabbath, has made several WWE appearances over the last four decades. In 2021, the 75-year-old was inducted into the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame.

Asked which metal musician he would like to add to The Judgment Day, Priest told Squared Circle Pit that Osbourne would be a good fit in terms of diversity in their group and added that no one could top the music legend.

"Ozzy Osbourne. Old-school Ozzy, there's no topping. Wild, man. And being that our group is diverse anyway, it fits right in, you know? Ozzy, as a character, I mean, who would top that character, right?" said Priest. [19:33 – 19:53]

The Judgment Day consists of Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Rhea Ripley. R-Truth briefly aligned himself with the stable in late 2023 and early 2024 but never became an official member.

Damian Priest's recent issues with The Judgment Day

On April 7, Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to defeat Drew McIntyre for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL. Since then, he has made it clear to other Judgment Day members that he does not need their help to retain his title.

Priest's first successful televised title defense came against Jey Uso at Backlash France on May 4. Despite clear instructions not to get involved, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh interfered to help their Judgment Day stablemate secure the win.

On the May 13 episode of RAW, The Archer of Infamy also seemed reluctant to let Carlito align with the group.
