Damian Priest sends two-word message to WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman
For those among the WWE Universe who are unaware, former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest is a Paul Heyman Guy. He has spoken in the past about The Wiseman's advice, which has helped him tremendously.
On the day of Paul Heyman's 59th birthday, September 11, The Archer of Infamy took to Instagram and wished him a happy birthday. Priest's short and sweet message to The Wiseman comes at a time when the latter's return timeline to The Island of Relevancy remains unknown.
"Happy birthday @paulheyman," wrote Damian Priest.
Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman recently appeared for Bloomberg Live's event in New York. The two touched upon a bevy of topics, including the company's biggest deal yet with Netflix starting in 2025.
Paul Heyman boasts about Roman Reigns' WWE achievement in 2024
At WrestleMania XL, Roman Reigns dropped the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare remains champion on SmackDown, consistently defending the belt ever since April 2024.
The Tribal Chief, on the other hand, disappeared altogether. At SummerSlam in August, he made a triumphant return to a hero's welcome, with the intention of sabotaging Solo Sikoa's main event against Cody Rhodes. Sikoa had taken power into his own hands and badmouthed Reigns ever since the latter's failure on the grand stage.
At the Bloomberg Live event, Paul Heyman pointed to Roman Reigns' significant impact on social media. Despite posting only one tweet since The Show of Shows, The Wiseman noted how Reigns had the biggest impact on social media:
"They just released who has the most social impact in WWE and Roman Reigns has been off social media since WrestleMania which was in April. Left social media since April. Who has the biggest impact on social media in WWE? Roman Reigns. And the nearest competitor was 15-18% behind Roman and he hasn't posted one thing since April. The enormity of the social media impact, the digital impact that WWE offers and its top star can offer on a global basis can even take a streaming service, and the world's biggest streaming service, like Netflix, and make it humble," Paul Heyman said.
As Cody Rhodes is booked for a massive title defense on the upcoming episode of SmackDown, there are rumblings about a possible Roman Reigns return. The American Nightmare will once again attempt to fend off Solo Sikoa for the first time since SummerSlam.
