Damian Priest teases major announcement following WWE RAW

World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest has teased a major announcement following last night's edition of WWE RAW. The Archer of Infamy will be defending his title against Seth Rollins this weekend at Money in the Bank.

Damian Priest captured the World Heavyweight Championship by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract on Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania XL. He defeated The Scottish Warrior once again last month at WWE Clash at the Castle due to some help from CM Punk.

Following last night's episode of RAW, Priest took to his Instagram to tease a major announcement:

"Working on something cool. Coming soon," he wrote.

Seth Rollins recently returned after undergoing surgery for a torn meniscus. The Visionary will be challenging Damian Priest for the title at the premium live event this weekend and there are some major stipulations attached. If Rollins loses, he can never challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship again while Priest is champion. However, Priest will be forced to leave The Judgment Day if he loses to Rollins this Saturday night.

Damian Priest reacts to being compared to WWE Hall of Famer

The Judgment Day's Damian Priest recently shared his thoughts on fans comparing him to WWE legend Razor Ramon (Scott Hall).

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter earlier this year, Priest discussed being inspired by Razor Ramon and noted that it was an honor to be compared to him:

"Scott Hall was clearly one of my biggest inspirations. Growing up, I was a big fan of the Razor Ramon personality. So to me, being compared to him, in any way, shape, or form is an honor."

Priest added that he got Ramon's permission to use the Razor's Edge in his moveset as well.

"I use the Razor's Edge, which I was lucky enough to ask him permission to use and he blessed me with it, yeah." [From 0:50 onwards]

There has been some tension within The Judgment Day as of late on WWE RAW. Finn Balor confronted Damian Priest last night backstage about his comments that The Judgment Day needs him more than he needs them. It will be fascinating to see if Priest will be forced to leave the faction if he fails to retain his title at WWE Money in the Bank 2024.
