Dax Harwood fires back at WWE champion ahead of AEW Dynamite
Dax Harwood has responded to a shot taken at All Elite Wrestling by a current champion in WWE. Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood (FTR) will be squaring off against The Young Bucks at AEW Dynasty this weekend.
Grayson Waller and Austin Theory became champions during the 6-Pack Challenge Ladder match at WrestleMania XL last weekend. Waller has made a name for himself by trolling others and took a shot at All Elite Wrestling in a recent interview on Going Ringside. The Australian star promoted WWE's return to Jacksonville on May 17 and noted that there will be finally some good wrestling in the area.
AEW star Dax Harwood reacted to Grayson Waller's dig at the Jacksonville-based promotion on social media. Harwood stated that WWE probably shouldn't have Waller in action on the May 17 episode of SmackDown if they are advertising good wrestling.
WWE legend criticizes AEW for letting Jade Cargill go
Hall of Famer Teddy Long recently blasted All Elite Wrestling for not realizing what they had in Jade Cargill. The former TBS Champion teamed up with Naomi and Bianca Belair at WrestleMania XL to defeat Damage CTRL in a six-woman tag team match.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Teddy Long claimed that it was sad AEW didn't know what kind of star Jade Cargill was when she was on the promotion's roster. He also praised the 31-year-old and said that she and Bianca Belair looked phenomenal together.
"I am so proud of her man, like I said... I have known her since day 1, so just, I am happy she is getting the opportunity she deserves. Like I said going back to AEW, she is right, right there. They don't even know what they had. It's sad. Congratulations to her, man, and Bianca too. Did you see them together? Do you see how phenomenal that looks?" said Long. [From 07:22 onwards]
