Umaga's son sends a heartfelt message about the late WWE star

A deceased WWE star's son had a heartfelt message to his followers on social media.

Umaga had two stints with WWE from 2001 to 2003 and from 2006 to 2009. He was part of 3-Minute Warning as Jamal in his first stint in the company before returning as The Samoan Bulldozer in 2006.

Six months after his release from WWE, he passed away on December 4, 2009, due to a heart attack. He was survived by his wife and four children, including Zilla Fatu, who became a professional wrestler last year.

In a recent post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Zilla Fatu shared a tribute to his father while sending a message to all of his followers.

"AIN'T NO REST IN PEACE. MY POPS LIVES THROUGH ME."

Zilla Fatu started his professional wrestling career in Booker T's Reality of Wrestling in Houston on July 15, 2023. He left three months later due to irreconcilable differences and began working on the independent circuit for promotions such as West Coast Pro, Oasis Pro, Supreme Pro Wrestling, UGWA, Epic Pro, and Circle 6.

The 27-year-old star is set to team up with his cousin Jacob Fatu on January 26 at GCW's Look at Me event and face Mane Event. It will be his debut for the New Jersey-based promotion.

Zilla Fatu had an idea for Bloodline-related story for WWE RAW

In an interview with Apples & Grapes back in September, Zilla Fatu revealed that he's part of Team Jey Uso. Fatu also shared his idea for Jey to have his own Bloodline stable on WWE RAW after leaving SmackDown.

"You have Solo, Jimmy, and Roman on SmackDown," Zilla said. "Jey is the only Bloodline member on Raw. He's the babyface on Raw and beefing with everybody in the back. How can he keep himself lit and take over? I feel like they need to get me and Jacob Fatu. They need to sign us and put us on Raw and have us form our own Bloodline and somehow incorporate maybe us going to SmackDown and confronting them." [H/T Fightful]

The Bloodline storyline involving Jey Uso has been on pause ever since he left SmackDown to join RAW. Jey is likely heading for a feud against Gunther and the Intercontinental Championship, although there have been rumors of a match against Jimmy Uso at WrestleMania 40.
