Dominik Mysterio ended up angering an ally on WWE RAW this week when he made an outlandish claim about defeating Gunther before Damian Priest during the show. His ally reacted immediately.

The star claimed that it was very possible that he could be the one to defeat Gunther before Damian Priest. This came after Finn Balor talked about how he was worried about The Archer of Infamy getting another title shot while he was busy concentrating on the tag team title picture.

Balor and JD McDonagh will be busy for a while because next week, a number one contenders' match will determine which team will face them for the tag team titles. New Day, LWO, and The War Raiders are all in contention, having won the first-round matches of the tournament so far.

Balor was worrying aloud backstage about how Damian Priest would go after the World title while he was busy with this, and Dominik Mysterio claimed that there was no reason to worry as he could become the champion himself by beating Gunther before Priest. While Carlito found the idea funny, Balor didn't react well and was seen quietly talking to McDonagh on the other side, showing that he was quite upset about the idea.
