"Do NOT put words in my mouth!!! - Former champion fires back at WWE following loss on SmackDown
This week's episode of WWE SmackDown was focused on Kevin Owens's return in The Bloodline storyline. But before the main event, Chelsea Green was forced to take on Bianca Belair one-on-one.
It was a backstage segment between the two women that set up the match which saw Green lose in less than a minute after Belair rolled her up for the quick pinfall. The EST was slapped to kick off the match, something that appeared to fire her up, and WWE recently shared an Instagram post asking Green if she regretted her actions.
It was clear that Green did not regret her actions since she responded to the post with the following comment.
"Do NOT put words in my mouth!!!!!!!!!! I regret nothing!!!"
The former Women's Tag Team Champion came up short against Belair, but after the match, when Jade Cargill and Piper Niven joined the mix, they were all interrupted by the current tag champions.
There are a number of women's tag teams on WWE SmackDown at present who are all coming for the Women's Tag Team Championship heading into SummerSlam season.
Chelsea Green has a real issue with authority in WWE
Since her return to WWE at the 2023 Royal Rumble, Green has made it clear that she doesn't respect the authority of either of the current General Managers on SmackDown or RAW.
Green was moved to WWE SmackDown in the recent Draft and it seems that Nick Aldis is able to control her in a much better way than Adam Pearce could, but Green is still someone who is regularly outside his office, complaining about the current system on the blue brand.
Green and Piper Niven have been looking to speak to Nick Aldis for weeks following Money in the Bank and to possibly address the fact that Green was thrown through two tables at the end of the match, but it's clear he has been actively avoiding her.
