A top wrestler is going to be out indefinitely due to a "tumour of cancer." The star has shared what has happened.

NJPW earlier announced that El Phantasmo would take an indefinite leave due to health concerns. Now, the star has sent a message clarifying exactly what is wrong.

He posted a clarification on his X account, asking fans not to worry about him. He asked everyone to send their love to Chris Bey, who needed it much more than he did. The star said that he had the support of his family and that doctors had found a "tumour of cancer."

He said that he would support those who went through it next as well and was glad to have the support himself. The wrestler added that he was in good spirits.

"Just want to get this out of the way so everyone doesn't worry about me. The last 2 week I've had a bunch of scans and tests done, and doctors have found a little tumour of cancer. Things are thankfully happening really fast, but have amazing family, friends and fans by my side, and I'm so grateful to have the support of warriors who have gone through the same thing before, and I look forward to help those going through it next."
