Dominik Mysterio accuses WWE legend’s wife of not paying back his money

Dominik Mysterio has been on a level of success since he turned heel in 2022. With every passing month, he has shown major improvements in presenting himself as a bad guy. He is arguably one of the finest heels in the promotion today. Dirty Dom has made a name for calling out people and trolling them, especially his father, Rey Mysterio.

Recently, the former NXT North American Champion blamed the wife of a WWE Hall of Famer for not paying the money he earned for his appearances in the Stamford-based promotion initially. The name in question is none other than the spouse of Rey Mysterio and Dominik’s mother, Angie Gutierrez.

While speaking on No-Contest Wrestling, Dominik Mysterio discussed his appearance in WWE in 2005. Staying in character, Dirty Dom took some shots at his parents and revealed that he didn’t know where the money that was paid for his appearances went, blaming his mother for it.

“I didn’t even get paid for it either. I’m pretty sure that’s illegal. It’s child labor. To make matters even worse, when I did stuff here in WWE, like SummerSlam, and I ended up getting paid for that, I never knew where the money went. I need to talk to her (Angie Gutierrez) about that. I bought one bike, and my mother said, ‘Oh, there goes your money.’ I did three pay-per-views, how many weeks of TV, and you’re telling me one bike, and I’m done," said Dominik Mysterio. Dominik Mysterio might face a heartbreaking betrayal next year

The Judgement Day has been hanging by a thread for weeks now, as the only OG members left in the group, Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor, have been finding it hard to work together.

It appears the group has been separated into two halves, one featuring Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Carlito, while the other has Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, and Raquel Rodriguez. Heading into an important year, Balor could betray Dirty Dom and crew, finally putting an end to The Judgment Day faction.

However, this is hypothetical at this point. It will be interesting to see what plans Triple H-led creatives have in store for Mysterio in the coming months, as he has been one of the most reliable stars from the promotion in the past year.
