Dominik Mysterio can never be a babyface after SummerSlam controversy, feels wrestling legend (Exclusive)
Wrestling veteran and former manager Kenny Bolin recently spoke about Dominik Mysterio's involvement in the Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley encounter. The two women collided in the opening bout of the SummerSlam Premium Live Event.
Rhea dominated the match before injuring her shoulder. However, she popped it back in the socket and continued. Mami got a steel chair and decided to blast Liv with it. But Dominik intervened and prevented her from getting disqualified. This allowed Morgan to hit an Oblivion on the challenger. Another distraction from Mysterio allowed the champ to hit a second Oblivion on The Eradicator, this time on the steel chair for the win. Later, Dom kissed Liv on the entranceway and walked off with her as Rhea looked on in shock and horror.
During an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda, Kenny Bolin mentioned this was a watershed moment for the trio. He pointed out that Liv and Dom were amazing with their heel work. He felt there was no going back for Dominik Mysterio and he will always remain a heel while Rhea makes the transition to babyface status.
"I love Liv Morgan. Liv is an amazing heel, and obviously Dom, I don't think you can ever turn Dom babyface. And it looks like the fans want Rhea to be babyface. It looks like it's what they want." [From 8:33 onwards]
