Dominik Mysterio makes bold claim ahead of WWE Bash in Berlin
Dominik Mysterio is booked for WWE's first PLE in Germany. He will team up with his new girlfriend Women's World Champion Liv Morgan to take on Damian Priest and his ex, Rhea Ripley.
Two years ago when he turned on his father, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, Dominik was named one of the most despised heels on the roster. Cut to SummerSlam 2024, and he once again turned on a loved one. This time, he cost Ripley the Women's World Title and then made out with Morgan.
During WWE's Pop Question on YouTube, superstars were asked to name the greatest villain of all time. 'Dirty Dom' believes nobody else stands a chance at the number-one spot but him:
"The greatest wrestling villain of all time? Me. Next. Next question," Dominik Mysterio said. [From 1:06 to 1:16]
The Judgment Day has now added Liv Morgan as a member. It appears Mysterio and Morgan have become major heels on WWE RAW owing to their actions and also because of the incredible popularity of Rhea Ripley.
Although Morgan's rivalry with Ripley commenced with her as a babyface, over time the dynamic changed, and through the lens of fans, Mami is the favorite.
TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth (FKA Dolph Ziggler) praised WWE for pushing Liv Morgan
Many believe Liv Morgan is the perfect athlete to portray Rhea Ripley's rival in the ongoing storyline. During his recent appearance on Busted Open, Nic Nemeth echoed this sentiment.
Nemeth claimed that Morgan has not changed as she is still the same person he knew many years ago. However, he believes the Stamford-based promotion has finally figured out how to utilize her talents. The 44-year-old added that with the right creative, she was ready to carpe diem:
"She's been the same Liv Morgan for the last three, four, five years, and there wasn't much going on at first until they [WWE] figured it all out. The pieces went together; the creative was there on their side, and she was ready to go," he said.
Bash in Berlin will emanate from the Uber Arena in Germany on August 31. How Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio fare in their upcoming Mixed Tag Team match now that they are on the same page will be an interesting watch.
