Dominik Mysterio reacts to emotional WWE video; fires shots at multiple stars
"Dirty" Dominik Mysterio was not impressed by a recent emotional video uploaded to WWE's social media. Mysterio then took shots at several WWE SmackDown Superstars following their show at Madison Square Garden.
In a post on WWE's official Instagram account, the management of MSG gave a silver-plated ticket to Carmelo Hayes, Indi Hartwell, and Elektra Lopez. It was a symbolic gesture given to the three superstars who made their debut at The World's Most Famous Arena.
Hayes was in a backstage segment with Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews, while Elektra Lopez accompanied Santos Escobar for his match along with the rest of Legado del Fantasma. Hartwell appeared twice by interfering in one match before wrestling in a Triple Threat Match to qualify for Women's Money in the Bank.
Several WWE superstars commented on the post and some were shocked by Madison Square Garden's gesture. Alexa Bliss and B-Fab were baffled by the gifts, while Summer Rae was wondering when MSG began giving them away.
Kevin Nash also chimed in and pointed out how much has changed over time since they couldn't even get coffee back then at the Garden. But it was "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio who took the cake with his GIF alluding that it was just a participation trophy.
Dominik Mysterio has wrestled six times at Madison Square Garden
While Carmelo Hayes, Indi Hartwell, and Elektra Lopez made their Madison Square Garden debuts on Friday, Dominik Mysterio has wrestled six times in The World's Most Famous Arena. He made his debut at MSG back on September 10, 2021.
Dominik had two matches on the night – an Eight-Man Tag Team Match and a dark match featuring his father Rey Mysterio, John Cena, and The Bloodline. His next match at The Garden was three months later in a Triple Threat Steel Cage Match for the RAW Tag Team Championships.
His fourth match there was on July 25, 2022, before he joined the Judgment Day. He teamed up with his father to beat Damian Priest and Finn Balor on RAW. He also participated in a 19-Man Battle Royal at a live event on March 12 last year.
Dominik's most recent match was on December 26 against CM Punk. It was Punk's first match since returning to WWE at Survivor Series: WarGames. "Dirty" Dom has an overall record of 3-3 at Madison Square Garden in his career so far.
