Dominik Mysterio responds to emotional request from Carlito's former WWE tag team partner

Dominik Mysterio recently responded to a request made by a former WWE Superstar on Instagram. The ex-star in question is Chris Masters.

Back in the day, Carlito and Chris Masters used to be tag team partners on WWE TV. Their biggest outing took place at WrestleMania 22 in 2006 where they lost a World Tag Team Championship match to Kane and Big Show.

Dominik Mysterio recently teamed up with Carlito at two back-to-back live events in Mexico. He shared a bunch of pictures from the event on his official Instagram handle. The two superstars can be seen hugging each other in one of the pictures. Chris Masters commented on the post and wrote that he was in Dom Dom's place years ago, hugging The Caribbean Bad Apple. He then told Dominik to take care of the former United States Champion. Dirty Dom had the following response:

WWE Superstar Dominik Mysterio's thoughts on Carlito

Carlito made a one-off appearance at Backlash last year. Shortly after, Dominik Mysterio had a chat with Alistair McGeorge of Metro and opened up about the veteran possibly making a return to WWE TV. Here's what Dirty Dom said back then:

"For sure, that’s definitely an interesting match. I know he’s had some history with my dad from back in the day, but for his sake I hope he doesn’t. He’s gonna have a problem with The Judgment Day and we’re gonna stomp him out. He put his business in our business, and that just doesn’t happen." [H/T Metro]

Things have changed quite a bit since Dominik's interview. Carlito is not a member of The Judgment Day yet, but he regularly hangs out with the group and just might get added as the newest member soon.
