Dominik Mysterio reveals WWE's original wild plan for custody match which was changed at the last minute
Dominik Mysterio disclosed WWE's wild original idea for an iconic storyline. The Judgment Day star will be in action in a marquee match later this month at Bash in Berlin later this month.
Speaking with Logan Paul on his ImPaulsive podcast, the 27-year-old was asked about the custody battle storyline between Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero back in SummerSlam 2005. Mysterio revealed that WWE originally wanted to suspend him from above the ring instead of a briefcase.
"Did you hear what they originally wanted to do with me? They wanted to hang me from a cage. Not even from a cage, they wanted to just actually hang me. Like on a waist thing and just like have me dangle there," he said. [From 46:05 - 46:23]
Logan Paul then compared the idea to the Money in the Bank briefcase hanging above the ring and Mysterio hilariously reacted to the comment. You can check out the episode of Impaulsive by clicking here.

Rey Mysterio suggests an interesting WWE retirement match against Dominik Mysterio
WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio recently pitched an interesting retirement match against his son.
Rey Mysterio has defeated Dirty Dom at the past two WrestleMania events. In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling earlier this year, the veteran suggested that his final bout could be a Hair vs. Mask match against Dominik Mysterio.
"That is a very good question, and [a] very hard one as well," Rey Mysterio said. "I don't think I have an opponent in mind, but if I had to put all my marbles on the line, I wouldn't mind betting my mask against something big, something worth me winning for the very last time. I don't know who that is. I mean, would Dom put his hair on the line? Mask versus hair? Why not? Yeah, that might be a great option." [From 02:44 – 03:21]
