Dominik Mysterio says controversial moment with Liv Morgan was not planned; only one person knew in WWE

Dominik Mysterio has revealed that he didn't tell anyone about a controversial moment with Liv Morgan. He said it was not originally planned; only one person in WWE knew about it.

At SummerSlam, Mysterio betrayed Rhea Ripley, finally showing his true colors and siding with Liv Morgan. He helped Liv to retain the title and then kissed her in front of everyone.

Dominik did a series of interviews ahead of SmackDown, and in one, he spoke on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet. There, he talked about how one of his biggest moments in WWE this year was actually unplanned and how it came about.

Dominik Mysterio made it clear that the controversial moment was not planned. He knew he would be doing it and presumably told Liv Morgan, but no one else in WWE knew he had planned it. Finn Balor was the only one with an idea of what was happening.

"No, I had no idea. I didn't even know I was going to grab her face. I was just kinda in the moment kind of deal. Honestly, I didn't even know I was going to kiss her until like probably two hours prior. Just a personal decision. Because I didn't want anyone to know, Finn kinda had an idea of it. But yeah, I wasn't. I wasn't kind of thinking about it at all, and then it kind of just happened," Mysterio said. (44:15 - 44:50)

Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan are the new power couple in WWE

While in his singles career, Dominik Mysterio still has a long way to go and needs to win some big titles before he establishes himself. He has already become a power couple with Liv Morgan.

Morgan is the Women's World Champion, and the two have the full support of Judgment Day and the newly arrived Raquel Rodriguez.

Together, they make for a big challenge for anyone, including Rhea Ripley, who is facing difficulties because the numbers are not in her favor.
