Dominik Mysterio teases potential alliance with absent WWE star; says they could win tag team titlesĀ
Dominik Mysterio recently discussed potentially aligning with a former WWE champion. He claimed they could become tag team champions.
Logan Paul teamed up with The Miz in his debut match to defeat Dominik and Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 38. Since then, Dirty Dom has turned heel and become one of the most hated characters in the Stamford-based company.
Earlier this year, Paul disclosed on his Impaulsive podcast his desire to form a tag team with Dominik, claiming they would become the most dominant duo in WWE. In a recent interview with The Schmo, The Judgment Day member also addressed potentially tagging with the former United States Champion.
"[If you two were ever to get back in the ring again, what would it look like when it's all said and done?] I think it would look like us being tag team champions. You know, we started off against each other because we both had, you know, different mentors. He had The Miz, I had my deadbeat dad, and we had, you know, these guys, these old heads talking in our ears and what we should do and we shouldn't be doing," he said.
The 27-year-old claimed he could see him and Paul winning the tag team gold. The Judgment Day member extended an invitation to The Maverick to meet up and chat if the latter wanted. Paul has been away from WWE television since losing the United States Championship to LA Knight at SummerSlam in August.
"So, now that we kicked them both to the curb, I have The Judgment Day family and Logan is all by himself. So, you know, if he wants to come and chat, he's more than welcome to. But I think at the end of the day, we can be tag team champions," he added. [6:12 - 6:50]

Dominik Mysterio also took a huge shot at a top WWE Superstar
In the same interview with The Schmo, Dominik Mysterio disclosed who other than his father, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, had given him advice since he arrived in the Stamford-based company.
The former NXT North American Champion revealed that Jey Uso gave him good advice before everything went downhill.
"Before everything had happened, Jey Uso. Jey Uso had given me some good advice, which eventually, obviously, backfired on him because he's a**," he said.
Dominik and Jey squared off in two singles matches. They both ended in victory for the Yeetmaster. It would be interesting to see if The Judgment Day member would eventually break his losing streak against Main Event Jey.
