Drew McIntyre appears on SmackDown and takes out injured Bloodline member
Drew McIntyre seized the opportunity ahead of his first match back at Saturday Night's Main Event as he took out an injured Bloodline member on SmackDown and made a statement.
Bloodline member Jimmy Uso opened the show and expressed his pride in Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and surprisingly, even Solo Sikoa. It looked like he was finally ready to move on with things related to The Bloodline as he teased winning the Royal Rumble and possibly even pursuing the United States Championship.
However, just like that, Drew McIntyre came out of nowhere and hit the Claymore Kick on the former tag team champion. WWE officials came out in what felt like record time. No further damage was done, but a statement was made.
Fans have yet to find out why he targeted Jimmy Uso. However, considering that he took out Jey Uso on RAW, it's not hard to speculate why he may have targeted his twin brother.
The reason that McIntyre could even appear on SmackDown in the first place is the "Transfer Window" that was announced - meaning superstars of each brand can appear on the opposite show. It's pretty vague in terms of just how many stars can appear on the opposite brand.
However, McIntyre cashed in his opportunity to make a statement. It's interesting that as of now, he will have had an issue with every single member of Team OG Bloodline at Survivor Series.
