Drew McIntyre breaks silence after being suspended indefinitely a day before WWE RAW
Drew McIntyre has not had the best time in WWE over the last few months. Ever since CM Punk's return, the star has found himself in situations that have put him in uncomfortable situations.
The star won the Money in the Bank briefcase last night at the event. He didn't waste any time and cashed it in during the World Heavyweight Title match. He was moments away from winning the bout when CM Punk rushed out to attack him with a steel chair. The vicious beatdown ensured that Priest was able to pin him and retain the title.
This came after Punk cost McIntyre in his title match earlier last month.
A furious McIntyre decided to attack Punk during the post-event conference, leading to others getting involved. Thanks to his actions, he was suspended indefinitely as he had also hit Adam Pearce who had come out to control him.
The announcement of the suspension has not gone down well with McIntyre, who has since broken his silence on the matter. He said that he had not meant to hit Pearce but he got in his way. He went on to insult the RAW General Manager as well.
"If you were doing your job properly you wouldn't have been caught in the crossfire you incompetent bald b**ch."
CM Punk is not yet confirmed to be cleared to wrestle, amidst Drew McIntyre feud
While it's clear that Drew McIntyre is now in a feud with CM Punk, the star is not yet cleared to return - at least officially. The star refused to answer the question in the post-Money in the Bank press conference.
It's expected that he'll return in time for SummerSlam to face McIntyre, but with the latter now suspended, it remains to be seen.
WWE RAW should answer fans' questions about the future of the feud.
