Drew McIntyre details shocking WWE run with a broken arm; fires shots at the locker room

Drew McIntyre's WWE run in 2024 has been one of the most acclaimed stretches of his career, and there's more to come as RAW moves to Netflix. Meanwhile, The Scottish Warrior detailed a shocking run with a broken arm.

Drew McIntyre remained in the spotlight on Monday Night RAW following his loss to Damian Priest at WrestleMania XL. However, The Scottish Warrior was often seen wearing black arm sleeves during matches before he went on a hiatus from the Stamford-based promotion.

During an appearance on KWCH 12 Morning News, the former World Heavyweight Champion explained the shocking nature of his injury. The 39-year-old WWE star revealed he had a broken arm throughout that particular run and called people in the locker room soft as they wouldn't have been able to go through it like McIntyre did.

"There I am wearing that thing on my right arm. I had a broken arm during that time, but unlike the rest of the colleagues that I work with, the guys that I work with are not very tough. I kept the broken arm under wraps, I didn't tell anybody, and I fought right through it. Most of those guys cry if they get a hangnail," McIntyre said. (From 01:00 onwards)

Drew McIntyre addresses absence from WWE TV

Earlier this year, Drew McIntyre spent months feuding with CM Punk on Monday Night RAW. After the two exchanged victories over each other, The Second City Saint ended their feud in a third match when he defeated The Scottish Warrior inside Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood.

The three-time World Champion has been absent from television since October and recently returned to WWE RAW. In the same interview, The Scottish Warrior addressed the reason behind his absence from the weekly product after his second loss to CM Punk.

"I suffered a family loss as well, so I went back to Scotland to deal with that and re-evaluate my priorities and realize that I have probably given a bit too much to my profession, to my colleagues, and not enough to my family," he said.

Drew McIntyre is set to face Sami Zayn at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14.
