Drew McIntyre interrupted by returning legend; Gets called out by his friend of 20 years on RAW
Drew McIntyre came out on WWE RAW this week to cut a promo and it wasn't any different from what fans might have expected him to say. What was unexpected, however, was a returning legend interrupting him for an amazing segment.
This week on Monday Night RAW, Drew McIntyre was swarmed by 'CM Punk' chants from the crowd. While roasting the crowd, he continued to talk about his perceived misfortunes from the past month.
He was interrupted by the active legend Sheamus, who only returned last week in a successful effort against Ivar. His friend of 20 years, The Celtic Warrior would go on to call him out for his recent behavior:
Sheamus let Drew McIntyre know how he felt, slamming him for not taking enough responsibility for his actions. He even took a shot at The Scottish Warrior by telling him that he got his backside kicked by a one-handed CM Punk.
McIntyre, although not happy, made it clear that he was still friends with Sheamus and took a shot at him by saying that he went from "Banger after Banger" to "Burger after Burger."
McIntyre would tell Sheamus that he still had his back regardless and state that the WWE locker room made fun of his weight - something Sheamus didn't seem to care too much about.
Following this, McIntyre would take his place at ringside as Sheamus faced Shinsuke Nakamura for the first time ever.
