Drew McIntyre laughs at 8-time WWE champion after winning major award

Drew McIntyre recently won a major award and his first reaction was to laugh at an eight-time WWE champion. The Scottish Warrior could not help but mock his former arch-nemesis CM Punk after Sports Illustrated named him the "best on the mic" in 2024.

There is no denying that the 39-year-old McIntyre was one of the top superstars of the year. Not only did he put on some exceptional performances on the mic, but his rivalry with The Voice of the Voiceless was one for the ages.

Right now, though, Drew McIntyre seems laser-focused on taking out The OG Bloodline. However, that hasn't stopped him from taking a break and mocking CM Punk, a five-time world champion, in addition to the ECW title and IC Title, on X/Twitter.

McIntyre responded to a fan who congratulated him on winning the award with a short clip of CM Punk, followed by him laughing. The clip saw Punk question if the former WWE Champion was "known for talking." It then quickly transitioned to McIntyre just laughing before raising his middle finger.

It's safe to assume that McIntyre still hasn't resolved his issues with Punk, so it wouldn't be surprising if he goes after the latter again later. But, he has other priorities he wishes to tackle right now.

Drew McIntyre has called a truce of sorts with Solo Sikoa

As mentioned earlier, Drew McIntyre has a bone to pick with The OG Bloodline. It all started the night after Survivor Series: WarGames when he attacked Jey Uso and Sami Zayn. Since then, he has made it his mission to take out every Bloodline member who stood in his way at one point or another.

However, this does not seem to apply to Solo Sikoa. Last week on SmackDown, McIntyre confronted the leader of The New Bloodline. He mentioned that he disliked Sikoa, especially since he cost him the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. But, he also respected him for standing up to Roman Reigns.

He then stated that he would do Solo the courtesy of dealing with the OG Bloodline first, and once he squashed them, he would turn his attention to him. It certainly doesn't look plausible, but it seems McIntyre has called a truce with The Street Champion.
