Drew McIntyre left fuming after walking out of WWE event

Drew McIntyre is in a very bad mood heading into tonight's edition of WWE SmackDown. The veteran defeated Ilja Dragunov and Sheamus in a Triple Threat match in the main event of this past Monday's edition of WWE RAW to qualify for the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match tomorrow night.

McIntyre became irate at the MITB Kickoff Show today after Michael Cole claimed he was being hypocritical. The RAW star threatened Cole and also ridiculed Damian Priest for cashing in his Money in the Bank contract from behind at WrestleMania XL. McIntyre stormed out of the event and had some more words to say in a new video shared on WWE's Instagram account.

"That thing [Money in the Bank contract] has cost me the title twice. Look at the facts I just gave out there and try to find some people who have beaten me over the past four or five years clean one on one. 95% I think is about accurate. I need that contract to put the power in by bloody hands. Tell me when I'm lying," he said.

Former WWE manager reacts to Drew McIntyre's attack on CM Punk

Wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell shared his thoughts on Drew McIntyre's attack on CM Punk last month on WWE SmackDown and praised the segment.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show, Mantell praised the segment and noted that he was following the storyline. He added that Drew McIntyre showing up on SmackDown last month caught him by surprise.

"Very good. So I'm following the story. He quit and of course, CM Punk brought that up. I think they were expecting him but not at that time. So when that door opened, and all of a sudden it's Drew McIntyre standing there. A guy is laying down there, for a minute, I didn't think it would be CM Punk. I thought it might be something else. It was him. So, they had my brain running and racing," said Mantell. [From 11:24 onwards]

McIntyre claimed that he was going to win the Money in the Bank contract and cash in on the same night during his promo this past Monday on WWE RAW. Damian Priest will be defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins at the premium live event this weekend.
