Drew McIntyre reacts to top champion taking a shot at CM Punk ahead of their Hell in a Cell Match

Drew McIntyre has reacted to Roxanne Perez taking a shot at CM Punk on this week's episode of WWE NXT. The reigning NXT Women's Champion claimed she should've been a fan of The Scotsman instead of The Voice of Voiceless while growing up.

McIntyre and Punk have been feuding for months. They will cross paths in a Hell in a Cell Match at the upcoming Bad Blood premium live event. McIntyre defeated Punk in their singles match at SummerSlam. Meanwhile, Punk secured the win in a Strap Match at Bash In Berlin.

On Twitter/X, McIntyre reacted to Perez's segment with Punk, stating he was proud of the top champion.

"None of this ‘you’re my wrestling daughter’ bs. Only freaks do that. I’m just very proud of you @roxanne_wwe," wrote McIntyre.

The feud between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk began earlier this year when the latter suffered a torn triceps injury during the Men's Royal Rumble Match.

At WrestleMania XL, The Second City Saint cost his arch-rival the World Heavyweight Championship by attacking him and allowing Damian Priest to cash in his Money in the Bank contract. Later, at the Money in the Bank premium live event, McIntyre failed to cash in on his contract, courtesy of interference from CM Punk.

The two superstars will aim to settle their feud inside the Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood.
