Drew McIntyre, Renee Paquette, Omos, and many others react to Jinder Mahal's emotional update after WWE release
Several WWE stars and other wrestling personalities have commented on Jinder Mahal's message after his release.
After an eight-year stint, The Modern Day Maharaja was recently let go by WWE. He didn't seem too happy about the same and declared on Twitter that he quit.
Jinder Mahal has now shared an emotional message addressing his WWE release via his social media handles.
The former WWE Champion said the following:
"I will only present myself in a way that I want to. I will only do things that I want to. I will only go places that I want to. I still have many goals, many dream matches, many places I want to go. Where do I make an impact? India, Europe, Japan, Canada, Red Hook section of Brooklyn, stay tuned. You got about 11 more weeks, Maharaja out," he said. [01:04-01:45]
His statement received several reactions from fans and his peers. Check out some of the most notable reactions below:
Jinder Mahal was the 50th WWE Champion in history
At Backlash 2017, Mahal became the 50th-ever WWE Champion by beating Randy Orton. He was given a lengthy reign that ended in late 2017, with a loss to AJ Styles on an episode of WWE SmackDown. Mahal spent the rest of his run as a mid-card act.
One of Mahal's biggest moments came earlier this year when he confronted The Rock on WWE RAW. The segment didn't end well for him as The Brahma Bull put him down to a loud pop from the fans in attendance. Mahal then competed for Seth Rollins' World Heavyweight Title on an episode of RAW but failed to defeat The Visionary that night. Now that he's no longer a WWE Superstar, fans are quite excited to see what's next for him when his no-compete clause finally ends.
