Drew McIntyre sends a five-word message after missing RAW post-WWE Bad Blood loss to CM Punk
Drew McIntyre suffered a crushing loss to CM Punk at WWE Bad Blood following which he missed this week's edition of RAW. However, The Scottish Warrior has been active on social media as he recently sent a short message.
The heated feud between McIntyre and Punk came to an end at WWE's recently concluded Bad Blood Premium Live Event as the duo clashed inside the Hell in a Cell structure. While the two men had a win each before the bout, the Best in the World secured the win in the rubber to take home the bragging rights.
McIntyre was legitimately busted open during the match, he required 16 staples to stop the bleeding. He has been away from WWE programming since the defeat. However, the superstar looked back on his clash with CM Punk and shared his thoughts through a defiant five-word message on his X (fka Twitter) account.
"It was supposed to hurt," wrote Drew McIntyre.

Drew McIntyre praised for his work at WWE Bad Blood
Drew McIntyre and CM Punk put on the performances of a lifetime at Bad Blood as the duo took each other to their absolute limits inside the Hell in a Cell structure. The match was filled with brutal spots, with the Scottish Warrior getting busted open due to a hit on the head.
However, Drew continued to wrestle despite the legitimate injury which earned him praise from Afa Anoa'i Jr. The real-life Bloodline member also gave CM Punk his flowers for an excellent outing at Bad Blood inside the unforgiving cell.
"Well, I mean they necessarily didn't need that headshot. But it's part of the story. It adds the drama, it's the frustration of where these two people are at in the story. And at the end of the day, sh*t happens too. And that's the credit to Punk and McIntyre is that they're old school guys that can work through that," he said. [From 16:21 to 16:48]
Drew McIntyre is expected to take some time off now that his feud with CM Punk is over. The Best in the World also stated on RAW after the PLE that he would take some time off to recover. However, Punk is rumored to return around Survivor Series: WarGames.
