Drew McIntyre shares WWE Draft preference; name-drops two major stars he wants to share brand with

Drew McIntyre has revealed which brand he would prefer to be drafted to and has named two major WWE stars he wants to be on the same show as.

WWE has shared a new video featuring the veteran, and he disclosed that he does not care where he gets drafted. However, McIntyre is hoping to be on the same brand as Sheamus and CM Punk moving forward, as he has issues with both stars.

"I don't care. As long as I get drafted to where CM Punk is, and maybe where Sheamus is so I can actually watch his back because the idiot needs to get his head screwed on right. Then... yeah. I don't care about anyone else's business, I just care about mine," he said.

The Scottish Warrior defeated Seth Rollins in the first match of Night 2 of WrestleMania XL to become the World Heavyweight Champion. However, he became distracted by CM Punk on commentary, and it cost him. Punk attacked McIntyre and Damian Priest quickly cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

WWE RAW star takes shot at Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre has made a lot of enemies as of late, and one of them claimed that all the veteran does is complain.

Speaking on a recent episode of WWE's The Bump, World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest took a shot at the 38-year-old. Priest said he doesn't care about McIntyre's opinion because all he does is complain and lose matches.

"Not if it's not true. I could care less about what Drew says. Drew's been talking for months. That's all he does is talk. He's forgot how to deliver, and that's why he lost at WrestleMania, that's why he lost on RAW. The old Drew McIntyre, the one that he always talks about, when he had his moment but there was no fans, that guy handled business. This guy, all he does is talk, and complain, and whine, and then he loses," said Priest.

Drew McIntyre is a two-time WWE Champion, but both of his title reigns occurred when there were no fans present during the pandemic. He got to hold the World Heavyweight Championship for five minutes at WrestleMania before his obsession with CM Punk cost him. It will be fascinating to see which brand McIntyre winds up on following this year's WWE Draft.
