Drew McIntyre urges fans to vote for him ahead of SummerSlam showdown

WWE star Drew McIntyre wants fans to vote for him. The star is set for an epic showdown against CM Punk at SummerSlam on August 3.

Slim Jim, a major sponsor for SummerSlam, launched a campaign asking fans to vote for the most savage moment of the summer. The nominations in this category include Drew McIntyre running CM Punk's homecoming, Nia Jax beating down Bayley, LA Knight invading Logan Paul's home, and Liv Morgan's Revenge Tour.

In a recent video uploaded on X/Twitter, Drew informed fans of the unique voting contest ahead of SummerSlam. The Scottish Warrior urged fans to vote for his savage moment from the June 21 edition of SmackDown, where he laid out Punk in his hometown of Chicago. He also detailed that the results would be declared at SummerSlam this Saturday.

"We are days away from SummerSlam when I finally get my hands on CM Punk. Before I do, I want you fans to get in on the action with a fan voting experience. You can vote now for the most savage moment of the summer brought to you by Slim Jim, the most savage of the snacks. When we talk about savage moments, the first thing that comes to my mind is when I laid out that stupid CM Punk in his hometown of Chicago and took that pathetic bracelet of his." [From 0:06 - 0:35]

Drew McIntyre and CM Punk confronted each other in the ring

Seth "Freakin" Rollins kicked off this week's RAW to announce the rules and regulations of the SummerSlam encounter between Punk and McIntyre.

He called out both stars to lay down the rules in front of them. However, the confrontation brought out the animosity between Punk and Drew. The Visionary warned them that the match would be called off if they lay hands on him or each other.

Rollins laid down the law, indicating that he would be the ultimate authority during the match. CM Punk also asked Rollins to call the match right down the middle before going eye-to-eye with Drew McIntyre in the ring.
