Drew McIntyre will defeat CM Punk again at WWE Bash in Berlin, believes veteran (Exclusive)
All eyes are on the WWE as the company prepares for the Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event, where CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will lock horns in a Strap Match. While it might be a tough match to predict, wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell has backed The Scottish Warrior to have his hands raised in Berlin tonight.
The feud between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk has been one of the most pivotal aspects of WWE's product in recent times. The veteran stars have made each other's lives miserable in kayfabe and will finally have an uninterrupted singles match at Bash in Berlin.
During their last in-ring outing, Drew McIntyre got the better of CM Punk after interference from Special Guest Referee Seth Rollins. While The Visionary didn't directly wish to cost The Best in The World the match, the former's actions definitely made his relationship with The Second City Saint even more strained.
Since SummerSlam, McIntyre and Punk have continued their bitter rivalry on television, and it is expected to go to new levels of brutality when they have a Strap Match at Bash in Berlin.
During the latest episode of Smack Talk, Dutch Mantell backed Drew McIntyre to pick up another high-profile win over CM Punk.
"I don't know. I think we're going to go with McIntyre," Dutch Mantell said after contemplating for a few seconds. [From 1:01:2o onwards]
Considering how their last WWE match went, many would expect Punk to get a win over McIntyre to even the scores, but Dutch Mantell thinks otherwise. It will be interesting to see how the story unfolds tonight.
