ECW legend returns after 7148 days in a new role; gets involved in violent match featuring two rising WWE stars

Two WWE stars were involved in a violent match on NXT. An ECW legend who made her return was also involved in this match.

Lola Vice and Jaida Parker have been feuding for the past couple of weeks. They first started feuding when Lola confronted Jaida about teaming up against Fatal Influence. However, Jaida snubbed her instead of taking her up on her offer.

Despite this, the women teamed up against Fatal Influence on the October 1, 2024 episode of NXT. However, they failed to coexist, which resulted in their loss. In the following weeks, both women would get involved in each other's matches. Hence, a Hardcore match was set up for tonight to settle the score.

Since tonight's episode of WWE NXT is taking place in the ECW arena, Dawn Marie was announced as the special guest referee for the match. This marked the legend's first appearance for WWE in 7148 days. She last appeared on April 12, 2005, when she faced Torrie Wilson on SmackDown.

Lola Vice and Jaida Parker had a violent match. Jaida even put Lola through a ladder with the teardrop. During the closing moments of the match, Lola locked in the sleeper hold, but Jaida hit her in the face with a brick. Soon after, Jaida was able to pick up the win.

It will be interesting to see if this match will be enough to settle the score between Lola Vice and Jaida Parker.
