Elektra Lopez shows off surprising new look ahead of WWE SmackDown
WWE star Elektra Lopez showed off a new look today on social media ahead of this week's edition of SmackDown. This Friday's episode of the blue brand will air live from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Elektra Lopez was originally a part of Legado Del Fantasma in NXT but was replaced by Zelina Vega in the faction when they were called up to the main roster. However, Lopez is now a part of the faction of SmackDown, while Vega is in the Latino World Order on RAW.
Ahead of this Friday's episode of SmackDown, Lopez took to her Instagram to show off a stunning new look. She also shared an interesting quote from legendary singer Dolly Parton, as seen in the post below.
"It’s hard to be a diamond in a rhinestone world," Lopez wrote.
Elektra Lopez defeated Zelina Vega in a singles match on the April 5 edition of SmackDown. She also competed in the tournament for the WWE Speed Women's Championship but was defeated by Damage CTRL's Kairi Sane in the first round.

Elektra Lopez recently disclosed that she worked in finance for a while before deciding to pursue her dream as a professional wrestler.
Speaking with Dr. Beau Hightower on YouTube, the SmackDown star opened up about her journey to becoming a wrestler. She shared that she worked in finance for a bit after college, but realized that she did not want to spend the rest of her life behind a desk.
"I mean, I took some time off here and there. I graduated college and then worked in finance actually for a bit. And then, realized like, I don't belong behind a desk. Like, I'm bored, and I didn't want to ever look back and regret not pursuing my true passion, which is wrestling. So, I took the chance. I left my firm in New York City and I got back to wrestling. Legado Del Fantasma has not been featured on WWE SmackDown as of late. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Lopez's faction on WWE television.
