Eric Bischoff reacts to Hulk Hogan's viral speech for Donald Trump
Two WWE Hall of Famers were the hottest topics of discussion on Day 4 of the Republican National Convention: Hulk Hogan and Donald J. Trump. The former has been trending worldwide since his massive endorsement, and now Eric Bischoff has just revealed a fascinating observation about his longtime friend.
Hogan delivered a high-energy speech to endorse Trump at the RNC on Thursday, declaring that Trump-a-mania will run wild and Make America Great Again. He referenced Randy Savage and other stars, claiming Trump and running mate JD Vance are the greatest tag team ever. He later re-introduced himself as Terry Bollea, an entertainer who tried to stay out of politics but couldn't stay quiet due to the assassination attempt and what had happened in recent years. The wrestling veteran continued to praise Trump before encouraging Trump-a-mania to run wild.
Bischoff and Hogan have been friends for more than three decades. The nWo bosses have worked together in WWE, WCW, and TNA while serving as co-executive producers on various entertainment projects. Eric took to X this week and gave a heartfelt statement in response to the Hogan RNC clip, noting that the wrestling legend has never been this happy since they've been friends.
"Couldn't be happier for my friend. I've known him for 30 years. Great times, good times, many not so good. Like many of us, life choices can be like a veil that lies between us and our faith. Terry Bollea eliminated that veil. He walks stronger than he talks. And I can see it in his eyes. He's never been this happy since I've known him," Eric Bischoff wrote.
Trump was inducted into the Celebrity Wing of the WWE Hall of Fame 2013. The 54th President of the United States was inducted by Vince McMahon himself. Bischoff was inducted into the 2021 Class.
