Ethan Page finally defeats 29-year-old WWE star to retain NXT Championship 

On WWE NXT Great American Bash Week 2, Ethan Page defended his NXT Championship against Oro Mensah. The two stars had been feuding for quite some time before finally colliding in the squared circle for the title.

The Meta-Four member hit a few chops in the corner during the match, but All Ego returned the favor. Mensah hit a kick and went for the cover, but the latter kicked out. He hit another kick and sent the champion to the floor. Ethan Page backdropped Oro Mensah onto the floor. Oro went for a springboard moonsault, but Page nailed him with a kick to the face.

All Ego hit a big powerslam but only got a two-count. Mensah hit Page with a few blows, a clothesline, and a scissor kick, which got a two-count. Ethan performed another kick, but he was hit with a suicide dive. The two stars exchanged strikes, and Oro Mensah nailed the NXT Champion with an enzuigiri.

Oro followed it up with a missile dropkick and hit another dropkick on the floor. All Ego slammed the challenger onto a picnic table at ringside and hit a snap DDT in the ring, which got a two-count.

Finally, Ethan Page performed the Ego's Edge and got the three count. Oro Mensah has unofficially pinned Page several times over the past few weeks in multiple in-ring segments, and the latter finally got one back.
