Ex-champion must end Nia Jax's WWE Women's Championship reign, says former employee
Nia Jax has held the WWE Women's Championship for over 120 days. Former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci recently suggested a top SmackDown star should end The Irresistible Force's title reign.
The 40-year-old champion captured the title at SummerSlam after beating Bayley. She has since successfully defended her championship against Michin, The Role Model, and Naomi. Although Tiffany Stratton has associated herself with The Irresistible Force on SmackDown, the 25-year-old has teased cashing in her Money in the Bank contract on Jax multiple times over the past few weeks. She even teased doing so last night at Survivor Series as they fought side-by-side in the Women's WarGames match.
While discussing the Women's WarGames match on the Behind The Turnbuckle: The Last Word podcast, Carlucci expressed his desire to see Stratton dethrone Jax. He claimed Tiffy Time was better looking, more entertaining, and more charismatic than the 40-year-old champion:
"I would love to see Tiffany [Stratton] be the champ. She's more entertaining, she's better looking, she's more charismatic than Nia has ever been in her life. And I would love to see that," he said. [From 1:05:33 to 1:05:43]
Nia Jax's team lost at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames
Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton, the Women's World Champion Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Candice LeRae lost to Rhea Ripley, Naomi, Bayley, IYO SKY and Bianca Belair in the Women's WarGames match.
Following her team's defeat, the WWE Women's Champion took to Instagram to post an encouraging message:
"The bounce back is what matters 🙏🏽," she wrote.
It would be interesting to see how long the Irresistible Force could hold on to her championship and whether Tiffany Stratton would eventually cash in her Money in the Bank contract on "her queen."
