Ex-employee criticizes WWE for "wasted time" with huge Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes angle (Exclusive)
Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell recently spoke about Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. The two megastars met at Georgia Tech to clear out some issues ahead of Bad Blood.
Cody and Roman were face-to-face at the football field of Georgia Tech University. Reigns spoke about how he shed blood, sweat, and tears in that very field while Rhodes claimed that Atlanta was his home and generations of his family shed their blood to entertain the people there. Despite some tough words from both sides, the two decided to put aside their differences at Bad Blood and take on The Bloodline.
During this week's episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Dutch Mantell felt the company could have done the whole segment more simply. He felt the creative team was trying to make a huge deal out of the confrontation and may have wasted a lot of time and resources in putting the segment together.
"Let me say one thing. Couldn't they have done this a lot more simpler? Just pull up to a building, go into a room, sit down at the table. No, they have to walk out on the field. You have Roman Reigns look around at the big stadium that he played in and it's Cody's town. I mean, they went out of their way to make this a big deal, and they did, kinda. But I think they had a lot of wasted time with what they produced." [From 25:53 to 26:24]

It will be interesting to see if Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns can hold off their differences long enough to defeat The Bloodline at Bad Blood.
