Ex-WWE Champion returning to join The Bloodline while Cody Rhodes aligns with Roman Reigns pitched by veteran (Exclusive)
The Men's WarGames match for WWE Survivor Series was teased on SmackDown, with The Bloodline getting ready to take on Roman Reigns and the other OG members of the group. However, veteran journalist Bill Apter noted that he can see The Rock joining Solo Sikoa and Co. while Cody Rhodes aligns with the babyfaces.
The Rock has not wrestled since the tag team match at WrestleMania 40 Night One where he teamed up with Roman Reigns and eventually pinned Cody Rhodes, who teamed up with Seth Rollins. However, The Final Boss made a surprise appearance at Bad Blood where he had a staredown with Roman Reigns and The American Nightmare after their victory over The Bloodline.
With the OG Bloodline most likely set to take on The Bloodline at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames this year, Bill Apter noted on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk that it would be interesting to see The Rock get inserted into the picture to make it a five versus five affair.
"You know what we’re missing on Solo’s side? It doesn’t matter what we’re missing [The Rock]. Can you imagine?"
The Hall of Fame journalist added that Cody Rhodes can join Roman Reigns and other babyfaces if The Brahma Bull aligns with The Bloodline.
"Maybe Cody Rhodes. Cody and The Rock in there." [From 24:45 onwards]
The Undisputed WWE Champion has unfinished business with The Brahma Bull. He is currently not involved in any program but could soon resume his feud with Kevin Owens.
