Wrestling legend admits he can't understand WWE's logic behind big decision involving The Rock (Exclusive)
The Rock could be set for another big WrestleMania main event in 2025 and his appearance at Bad Blood seemed to tease just that. However, wrestling legend Vince Russo admits he can't fully understand one major decision.
On the latest episode of Writing with Russo, wrestling legend Vince Russo dissected The Rock's return at Bad Blood 2024 and explained why it should have been handled differently.
The ex-WWE writer said that after Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns agreed to team up in the Georgia Tech Football Field segment on SmackDown, The Final Boss should have made a video announcing that he would be at Bad Blood 2024:
"I also book logically. The second those two [Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns] agreed to team up, you should've heard from The Rock. That's logic, bro. If something goes down in football, you don't interview the player a week later. We should've gotten his response immediately, like 'I know all about AI and trick photography, I'm going to check it out to see that it really didn't take place, that it wasn't smoke and mirrors. I'm going to show up in Atlanta and see for myself.' That's why I sit here and I'm thinking, 'I don't understand, bro.'" (5:29-6:19)
Stating that there were no excuses, Russo said that even if he was busy, WWE should have gone to The Brahma Bull to film his response.
"Even if The Rock was busy, you go to him with a camera. You catch him on the way, it's that simple." (7:17-7:26)

The Rock gave a wholesome shoutout to a WWE legend
There was an incredible promo from back in The Attitude Era featuring The Brahma Bull and Lillian Garcia - perhaps the most famous announcer in WWE history along with Howard Finkel.
A fan on Instagram referenced his promo from a couple of decades ago where he was flirting with WWE legend Lillian Garcia - specifically mentioning the line where he told her, "You get wet...with perspiration standing this close to The Rock". Recalling that iconic moment, The Final Boss gave a shoutout to Lillian Garcia and said she's the best:
"Pretty good word play 😂 (shout to my buddy Lillian Garcia for always being the best)."
Samantha Irvin has arguably done a better job than anybody living up to Lillian Garcia while also creating her own legacy.
