Ex-WWE figure names two Judgment Day stars who desperately need to change characters (Exclusive)
The Judgment Day has been going through a bit of a whirlwind, with a recent title loss and several missed opportunities for Finn Balor. Meanwhile, a former WWE backstage figure has named two stars in the group who he believes need a character change,
In the latest episode of Writing with Russo, Vince Russo expressed his honest thoughts about The Judgment Day, which he believes is being wasted by WWE. He advocated for a break-up and the return of Finn Balor to The Demon persona.
Vince Russo pitched an idea to host Dr. Chris Featherstone about separating The Judgment Day by having Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan head in one direction, and JD McDonagh and Raquel Rodriguez in the other. He said that McDonagh and Rodriguez desperately need to be built up as they are being placed in a spot for the sake of it.
"Maybe you go with Dominik [Mysterio] and Liv [Morgan], and then, maybe, you go with some kind of alliance with JD McDonagh and [Raquel] ]Rodriguez. Maybe that's where you go. And maybe, that's how you can build both of them. I mean, Rodriguez and McDonagh need building, like badly,'' he said.
The former WWE writer added:
''I hate when we throw characters on TV just for the sake of throwing characters. Anybody can be in that spot. That's how you know somebody isn't over. Think about someone filling the shoes of [Stone Cold Steve] Austin or The Rock. Never in a million years. There are so many people in the WWE that if you replace them with somebody else, it wouldn't matter." [7:34-8:30]

Raquel Rodriguez had a wholesome reaction despite losing to ex-Judgment Day member Rhea Ripley on RAW
The Judgment Day representative Raquel Rodriguez may not have set the world on fire since her return, but she had a great match against Rhea Ripley on the December 9 edition of the flagship show.
Despite her loss to The Eradicator in an Anything Goes Match in the main event of RAW, it was an achievement for Big Mami Cool, as she headlined the show. Later, she took to her Instagram stories and wrote:
"My first singles in over a year, and I Main Evented RAW! God is good!'' she wrote.
Rodriguez competed in the Women's Intercontinental Championship Tournament this past Monday but was eliminated in the first round. Zoey Stark defeated her and Kayden Carter in a Triple Threat Match to advance to the semi-finals, where she will face Dakota Kai.
