Ex-WWE member puzzled over how the company will book Uncle Howdy successfully (Exclusive)

Uncle Howdy and his entourage showed up on WWE RAW this week. Former WWE head writer Vince Russo discussed how the show ended with the faction's return.

It was a spectacular main event on RAW as Jey Uso defeated Rey Mysterio and Finn Balor to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match. However, after the main event, the lights turned off, and the fireflies came out. During the shocking segment, Uncle Howdy came out and was accompanied by his associates, much to the shock and amazement of fans.

On the latest episode of Legion of RAW, Vince Russo mentioned it would be difficult to get The Wyatt Sicks over. He suggested that WWE probably wanted to see if the fans would be open to an entertainment-heavy faction on TV. He felt that even if things didn't work out, the company would feel they gave it their best shot.

"Unless you go to the extremes, there is no way to pull this off. Hold on, with that being said, could the WWE be purposely doing this? Because when it doesn't work in three or four weeks, 'Guys times have changed, they don't want it. They don't want entertainment anymore.' I'm telling you. Does this shut the critics up? 'We tried it and nobody wanted it. They want wrestling, times have changed.' I'm telling you. I'm a writer, I don't know how you pull this off." [From 36:00 onwards]
