Ex-WWE personality on whether The New Day will split up on Monday Night Raw
The New Day has already reserved their spot in the WWE Hall of Fame, and Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have managed to keep the team going even in Big E's absence. Recently, former host of The Bump, Matt Camp, gave his thoughts on the popular group's current rivalry and believes they won't split up.
After WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia, The New Day started a feud on Monday Night RAW against Karrion Kross' Final Testament. The duo of Woods and Kingston have been at the losing end for a while, and there have been teases of a potential heel turn from Xavier Woods, leading to the end of the group.
Speaking on The Wrestling Matt, the former WWE personality discussed The New Day's ongoing storyline on Monday Night RAW. Camp detailed a scrapped plan for the duo and believes a heel turn is more likely for Woods and Kingston than a split on the red brand.
"When [Xavier] Woods was King of the Ring, there was a discussion of turning him and Kofi [Kingston] heel. I don't know how far it went, but there were conversations about that. And I think Woods would be a tremendous heel. Once again, [they're] not breaking up The New Day," Camp said. [From 17:20 to 17:40]

In 2021, Xavier Woods won the King of the Ring Tournament in Saudi Arabia, however, the veteran has never managed to get on a solo run like Kingston and Big E did.
The New Day's Xavier Woods recently lost a title match ahead of WWE Money in the Bank
A majority of Xavier Woods' run in WWE has been in the tag team division alongside Kofi Kingston and Big E.
The New Day has left a legacy in the Stamford-based promotion for generations to come. Woods, however, hasn't had the same luck in singles competition, compared to his team members. The 37-year-old star hasn't won any singles titles in the company.
Apart from winning the King of the Ring Tournament in Saudi Arabia, Woods has captured 12 Tag Team Championships (RAW, SmackDown, & NXT) in the promotion. Recently, he faced Andrade for the WWE Speed Championship.
Sadly, the former King of the Ring winner lost ahead of Money in the Bank in Toronto. It'll be interesting to see what the duo does next on Monday Night RAW.
