Ex-WWE star who parted ways with Triple H might return in the future amid AEW rumors, says analyst
It's never say never when it comes to WWE or pro wrestling, for that matter. Backstage analyst Sam Roberts recently discussed whether Samantha Irvin will return to the Stamford-based promotion in the future.
The 35-year-old star recently stepped down from her position as an in-ring announcer after being in WWE for more than three years. Irvin's decision to quit the sports entertainment juggernaut sent shockwaves across the wrestling world. However, what surprised fans the most was the revelation that Samantha didn't enjoy being an announcer.
Irvin revealed that she wanted to become a manager or on-screen General Manager of the flagship show, something WWE wasn't on board with. According to reports, Samantha Irvin was contemplating leaving the Stamford-based promotion for a year and had plans to shift her focus to outside projects.
Immediately after Samantha's departure, some people within AEW said an attempt would be made to get her services, precisely because of her relationship with her fiancé, Ricochet. The ongoing speculation was put to rest when Ricochet confirmed that Samantha Irvin wouldn't be joining AEW.
Speaking on the Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts thinks the former voice of Monday Night RAW will come back to the Triple H-led WWE at some point.
"I and maybe this is just wishful thinking, hope, would love to see, think that at some point we'll see Samantha Irvin back in the WWE. It's just one of those things, whether it was on her life bingo card or not, sometimes life puts you in the exact spot that you're supposed to be in, and it's up to her to answer that question. As fans, we can't answer that question for her. But as fans, I think most of us would like her in that spot," Roberts said. [From 57:17 to 57:43]

Wrestling veteran cites personal reason behind Samantha Irvin's WWE exit
During a recent edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Backstage Pass, Jonathan Coachman speculated that Samantha Irvin could be pregnant, which is why she abruptly took a hiatus, in the same way, Becky Lynch did years ago.
"We’ve seen historically that when something happens abruptly, usually there is a little one involved. Becky Lynch when she announced on the show, she was pregnant, so that was very abrupt. My guess is, and I don’t know this to be true, but my guess is that she (Samantha Irvin) is pregnant," Coachman said.
Regardless of the speculation, Irvin affirmed that if she's not in WWE, she won't be in the wrestling business anymore. It will be interesting to see if she will return to the business in the future.
