Ex-WWE star willing to return after 15 years as a player/coach in Triple H's regime
Triple H has overseen WWE's main roster creative direction since replacing his father-in-law Vince McMahon in 2022. Sinn Bodhi, formerly known as Kizarny in WWE, recently addressed whether he could return to the company.
Bodhi appeared on SmackDown as Kizarny between October 2008 and February 2009 after two years in WWE's developmental system. On the January 2, 2009, episode of SmackDown, he defeated MVP in his only televised main roster singles match.
On the Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling Podcast, Bodhi praised Triple H as WWE's creative figurehead. He also expressed an interest in returning as a trainer and wrestler:
"What I would like to sort of saddle into is doing what I do now but specifically for a major company," Bodhi said. "I would like to be a player/coach. WWE, I can't disagree with anything that Triple H does because he's Triple H, he's awesome, but he's gotta know, he wants to invest in these younger athletes, again, that makes sense, but he comes from a time where older grizzled guys led younger guys and groomed them and polished them. We called those carpenters." [52:51 – 53:26]
Bodhi still wrestles regularly at the age of 51. He has also guest-coached at WWE's Performance Center training facility in Orlando, Florida.
How Sinn Bodhi could help Triple H, WWE, and other companies
Kamala, King Kong Bundy, The Road Warriors, and The Steiner Brothers are among the high-profile names Sinn Bodhi has shared the ring with.
Bodhi believes WWE and other wrestling promotions could benefit from his experience if they hire him as a coach:
"I couldn't help but just learn a s**t ton of really sneaky, awesome tricks, how to make it look good, how to tell a story, how to keep each other safe. All this kind of stuff, so I can do that for the young guys, so I would really like to [help], whether it's for AEW, whether it's for TNA, whether it's for WWE or wherever, NWA." [56:01 – 56:22]
Bodhi's last WWE match aired on the February 6, 2009, episode of SmackDown. He was one of 15 participants in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Battle Royal, which was won by Vladimir Kozlov.
