Ex-WWE writer details major flaw in Roman Reigns and The Bloodline's story (Exclusive)
The Bloodline is set to go to war with Roman Reigns’ men at WWE Crown Jewel. A former writer believes that there’s a major flaw in the story unfolding on RAW and SmackDown.
Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline is the clear heel team in the rivalry. Their work allowed Reigns to return to WWE as a face without making much effort to change character.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s The Coach and Bro Wrestling Show, Vince Russo pointed out a major flaw in the story. He noted that there’s no way fans can buy Solo Sikoa being equal to Roman Reigns and Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa being close to The Usos.
"We're supposed to put all the heat on the Bloodline. Because let's face it, from day one, they set this Bloodline up as the B-Team. Solo Sikoa is supposed to be Roman Reigns. Tuppy and Takky are supposed to be The Usos," Vince joked. "So from day one, they set them up as the B-Team," Vince said.
He pointed out that the writers put heat on The Bloodline but used babyface Jey Uso to remove the titles, which created doubts about his face run. This took the heat off The Bloodline and put it on Jey instead.
"So Coach, what do they do? They put so much heat on The Bloodline this week that Jey Uso screwed the heels out of their tag team championships," he added.
The OTC is the clear star in the rivalry, followed by The Usos. Unfortunately, Solo Sikoa and his men do not come close to his popularity.
Sami Zayn could join Roman Reigns against The Bloodline on WWE RAW
WWE is taking the rivalry one step at a time and adding new characters to it. Roman Reigns returned before Jimmy Uso joined him in the babyface corner.
Solo Sikoa’s men directed problems towards themselves by costing Jey Uso the Intercontinental Championship. The Yeet Master cost them the WWE Tag Team Championship in return.
Sami Zayn is the final member who could join Roman Reigns' team. The former Honorary Uce returned to RAW this week and tried to talk some sense into Jey Uso while claiming that he wouldn’t be part of the family drama.
Fans could see him join The OTC in due time, especially after another stupid mistake by Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline costs them dearly. It would make his team even less believable heading into Crown Jewel and Survivor Series: WarGames.
