Ex-WWE writer makes shocking statement about Liv Morgan's championship reign
Liv Morgan captured the WWE Women's World Championship at the 2024 King and Queen of The Ring after defeating Becky Lynch. Former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. recently shared his insights on why the company might continue to keep the major championship on The Judgment Day star for an extended period.
The Miracle Kid has successfully defended her women's world title against the likes of Rhea Ripley, Zelina Vega, Kairi Sane, and a few others, either on TV or live events. Not only that, but she also pinned Nia Jax to become the first-ever Women's Crown Jewel Champion at the premium live event in Saudi Arabia.
In a recent episode of his Wrestling with Freddie podcast, the former writer speculated that WWE intends to have Liv Morgan hold the Women's World Title for a considerable length of time. Prinze Jr. explained that this decision is likely due to Rhea Ripley's injury and The Judgment Day star's versatility as a performer, making her suitable for various roles and storylines:
"With Rhea [Ripley] hurt, I believe the plan is to keep the belt on Liv [Morgan] for as long as we can. She can act, she can wrestle, she can do backstage segments, she can do in-ring segments, she can do cool entrances from the stairs where she was crying because Dom's [Dominik Mysterio] saying, 'I hate you' and all this stuff like she can kind of do it all right now. So I don't see the belt coming off her," he said. [From 05:36 to 05:59]
